Manchebo Hotel opened on Dec 15, 1966, as Aruba’s newest tourism development. Ike Cohen became a shareholder and started managing the hotel in 1970. He took the project to a higher level. The resort was upgraded many times over the years, but Bill Cohen the executor of Ike’s will was steadfast in keeping the indigenous Aruba culture in the design. PSB’s role on this hotel was over several years working with the design team to upgrade various elements including Food and Beverage, a large outdoor pavilion, exterior elements, adding a bike barn and multiple concepts for re-imagining the entry.
